David Cowan

With over 35 years behind the keys, Clydebank’s own veteran keyboardist David Cowan is a true powerhouse of the Scottish rock scene. David has worked and shared the stage with some of the most respected musicians in the industry such as: Zal Cleminson Chris Glen Manny Charlton Davy Knowles Jim Kirkpatrick Zac Schulze & Jimmy Vaughn to name a few.. His career is a masterclass in rock pedigree. So much so he’s pulling double duty with two massive projects: The Sensational Alex Harvey Experience (SAHB Tribute) and Band Of Friends which is a celebration of the music of Rory Gallagher. This band also includes Gallagher’s iconic rhythm section (Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O’Neill). Influenced by titans like Deep Purple, Toto, and Dream Theater, his solo work is equally ambitious having already released two solo albums: Out Of The Dark and Identity: Out Of The Dark 2, the trilogy concludes later this year with the highly anticipated 2026 release: Orchestra Of Chaos: Out Of The Dark 3.
